The iconic technology and electronics retailer was founded in 1973, with the first store opening in Barrington, Christchurch. The brand expanded throughout the South Island before opening its first North Island store in 1986. Noel Leeming now has stores throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, and over 1,500 team members across its stores, distribution centres and support office.
Noel Leeming was bought by The Warehouse Group (TWG) in 2012.
